Maurenn Whitlock Needs Help

My mother-in-law celebrates her 90th birthday in October. Nothing would give her more pleasure than to find out the birthday of her Mother Jane Evans. Jane and her sister Florence were boarded out from a workhouse in London with a Mrs Hughes in Ettington around 1889/90. They attended school in Ettington and we have a photo of their class. I've searched the usual records but found no trace of Jane's birth certificate. Does anyone know if there are school records dating back to the 1890s?
